Irish artist Louise Treacy, Wexford

Louise Treacy, B.1954 living in Wexford, Ireland.

Completed a fine art degree in 2013, as a mature student. I enjoy both plein air work and studio painting. This particular body of work was all completed 'alla prima', en plein air, each piece painted in a single session on location.

I love to travel and my paints come with me wherever I go. I enjoy swapping from Oil paint to Watercolour, as I find one feeds the other. I love to take part in plein air events both at home and abroad. I am a very active member of the plein air community in Ireland and online. I have participated in several events in Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and the USA.
